The Birch Bay Hostel is located in beautiful Birch Bay Washington, just south of the Canadian border. Located in
a former Air Force station, now Lion's Camp Horizon Park, this hostel is ideal
for couples, families and groups. Facilities include a volleyball court, and fire circle.
It is within a short distance of Birch Bay State Park.

Go hiking or biking around Birch Bay, lounge on the beach with a good book, or break out for wider territory. Just two hours away you can ski or climb the slopes of Mount Baker and spend sunny days fishing, hiking, and picnicking in the million-plus acres of Mount Baker National Forest. Cycle on the flat terrain in the shadow of the Cascades or spend the morning in Bellingham; then return to Birch Bay to beach comb for agates, dig for clams or oysters, and enjoy swimming in the surprisingly warm waters of Birch Bay.  After a two or three day visit you will be ready to trek up to Vancouver B.C. or head south to Seattle.

The Birch Bay Hostel is a club project of the Birch Bay Lions Club.
